ABOUT ME

With over 30 years of experience in Montessori education, Nichole is a highly respected leader known for her dedication to child-centered learning, teacher development, and innovative program design. Her career spans the full spectrum of Montessori education—from classroom teaching to school leadership and teacher training—bringing a deeply holistic understanding to her work.

With a deep love for Dr. Montessori's work, Nichole was inspired to found the Oaks Montessori School in Austin, Texas. In this role, she mentored countless educators and designed transformative Montessori programs that strengthened school communities nationwide. Her expertise also led to collaborations with the Biden Administration to design and implement the first federally approved education program for unaccompanied minors, as well as with Google and Microsoft to develop impactful Montessori-based initiatives.

Beyond her work in schools, Nichole is a certified parent coach, helping families embrace respectful, developmentally attuned parenting practices.

In recognition of her impact and forward-thinking approach, Nichole received the 2024 American Montessori Society Emerging Leadership Award while continuing to shape the next generation of educators as a guest lecturer at both the University of Texas and Texas State University, where she shares her insights on Montessori philosophy, school culture, and leadership.
